If you have purchased tickets from Ticketmaster and your event is rescheduled and you cannot make the new date, you can contact them via help.ticketmaster.co.uk for a refund.
 
If your event is cancelled you will be refunded automatically and you do not need to do anything. We appreciate your patience at this time.

We note the recent advice from the UK Government in relation to non-essential social contact, and all of the events listed below have been postponed or cancelled. We are currently liaising with promoters and event organisers to reschedule our events calendar. Further updates will be posted in due course and ticket holders and guests of any events that are postponed or cancelled will be contacted directly.

 

21 March 2020

Following official government advice issued on Friday 20 March, strongly urging people to avoid unnecessary travel, non-essential social contact and the closure of pubs, clubs, and theatres; we wish to advise that The Bonus Arena will be closed to the public in line with government directives.

We are actively seeking clarity from the government regarding its announcement and the ongoing impact on venues such as ours. In the meantime we will continue our collaboration with presenting organisations as we work with them regarding the postponement of events. Sadly some artists have had to cancel tours completely and while this is disappointing we will continue to work diligently to provide patrons and fans the opportunity to see their favourite artists at the earliest available date in accordance with government advice and direction.

Given the sheer number of events scheduled at The Bonus Arena we seek the understanding of guests as it will take a little time to reposition tours and concert dates either later into 2020 or 2021. As concerts are cancelled or postponed we will provide advice regarding rescheduled dates or cancellations primarily via our website and if you purchased your tickets from a third party agency, they will be in touch with you direct.

We expect rescheduled dates to be confirmed over the coming weeks. Tickets will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled event date, and refunds will be available if you can’t make the new date, just follow the instructions in your email. Where an event cannot be rescheduled it will be cancelled and tickets will be refunded automatically to the card used for purchase. If you purchased your tickets from an agency, they will process your refund for you, please refer to their communication to you for further information.

We take the health and safety of our guests and employees very seriously and we will continue to monitor the situation and the threat of COVID-19 globally with advice from the World Health Organisation and Public Health England, as well as that of the local government.

It is our intention to re-commence the holding of events as soon as possible, following further government advice. Thank you for your continued understanding and support during these extraordinary times.

To our guest and industry colleagues please stay well and safe and we will see you again in happier circumstances when the music will once again ring out from the stage of The Bonus Arena, Hull.

Will I get a refund if the venue is closed because of an outbreak?

If an event is cancelled, advice about refunds will be available from your original point of purchase.  

How will I know if an event has been cancelled because of Coronavirus?

If an event is cancelled you will normally receive an email from your point of purchase. We will also put a notice on our website and communicate to our customers via our social media channels. Please continue to monitor our website and social media channels for any updates.
