Pet Shop Boys

Pet Shop Boys will perform across the UK and Europe for their first-ever greatest hits tour – Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live – in May/June 2020. Beginning on Friday, May 1st at Berlin’s Mercedes Benz Arena, the tour will see PSB perform at arenas across the continent and UK.

The duo today added an extra UK tour date and are set to play Hull’s Bonus Arena on Wednesday June 24th.

In their live shows over the last 30 years, Pet Shop Boys have created an original style of pop musical theatre, collaborating with directors, designers and artists including Derek Jarman, David Alden and David Fielding, Zaha Hadid, Sam Taylor-Wood and Es Devlin. In the July of 2016, Pet Shop Boys played an exclusive four-date residency entitled Inner Sanctum at the Royal Opera House in London about which The Independent stated: “Their career has perpetually shown that pop music and high art cannot only co-exist but surpass supposedly superior musical forms”.

Pet Shop Boys recently released their fourteenth studio album, ‘Hotspot’, via x2 Records / Kobalt - available on CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats now. The album is the third instalment in the series of PSB albums produced by Stuart Price, following ‘Electric’ in 2013 and ‘Super’ in 2016. The record hit no. 3 in the UK Official Album Charts.

‘Hotspot’ was mostly written and recorded in Berlin and Los Angeles and produced and mixed by Stuart Price. It features 10 brand new Tennant/Lowe tracks including previous singles ‘Dreamland’ featuring Years & Years, ‘Burning the heather’ – which features Bernard Butler on guitar – and new track ‘Monkey business’, with the official video available to watch here.

Standing and seated tickets will be available for this gig. Max six tickets per person.
